Are UGG boots worth the money?
If you'll wear them most days for years, real sheepskin is warm, breathable and made to be worn without socks. If they're for the sofa and the school run, a well-reviewed suede lookalike at around £43 does the job.
Can you wear UGG boots without socks?
Yes. UGG says its sheepskin boots are designed to be worn barefoot: the wool wicks moisture away and the fleece moulds to your foot. Lookalikes with a faux-fur lining don't breathe the same way, so wear socks with those.
